Periklis Aliopis

He was born in Edessa in 1988. At the age of 6 he started his music studies in the Municipal Conservatory in Edessa. In 1999 he began studying trumpet next to Tasos Diskos. In 2013, he graduated cum laude from the Northern Greece Conservatory next to Anastasios Giamouridis, following his studies in the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki from 2004 till 2011. He has won many prizes in Panhellenic Student Contests and has participated in several classical music ensembles. He has been constantly performing and recording as a member of traditional brass ensembles, and has cooperated with Greek artists such as Dimitra Galani, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Stamatis Kraounakis, Natasha Bofiliou, Socrates Malamas, Eleonora Zouganeli a.o.
He has been a member of Imam Baildi from 2007 until 2014 and of the National Opera since 2014.
